KSC believes in empowering the communities where it operates. Our objective is that by 2026 to have empowered 5000 Internally Displaced People (IDPs) especially youth and women with skills including entrepreneurship. Our target are women and youths because these are part of the most affected groups. In eastern Congo, women are the strong hold in the household.  Empowering a woman is empowering the entire community. On the other hand, youths are prone to joining militia groups due to unemployment. As such, KSC equips them with entrepreneurial skills thus hindering them from joining militia groups. Both women and youths get seed funding after training. 

KSC provides exponential training, where one empowered beneficiary empowers another, making this program effective and efficient.
