Eastern DRC is one of the areas with a fast-growing population in DRC, with more than 21 million people. Agriculture is one of the main activities - but with low value added. Farmers sell raw produce at thin margins while the processing value goes elsewhere.
Co-founders Amos Kwizera and Gachuruzi Kanyamanza created Kivu Society Corporation to bridge that gap. By turning locally grown ginger, rosemary, and other botanicals into premium beverages, KSC creates more value per harvest - and returns that value to the farmers and communities who make it possible.
Our flagship product, Romarin Tangawizi, has become a recognized name in Goma and is now expanding across DRC. But this is just the beginning. Our vision is continental.
